The pre-wedding festivities for the upcoming nuptials of Anant Ambani, son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and his fiancée Radhika Merchant are underway in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The three-day extravaganza kicked off on March 1st, with the theme ‘An Evening in Everland.’

Day 2 of the celebrations, held on March 2nd, promises to be an exciting outdoor affair. Titled ‘A Walk on the Wildside,’ guests are invited to the Ambani family’s animal rescue centre for an exotic safari-style experience. The suggested dress code is ‘jungle fever,’ indicating comfortable, casual attire perfect for the outdoors.

Anant and Radhika Merchant’s Thoughtful Gesture for Animals

In a thoughtful gesture, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have requested guests to refrain from taking photos or videos of the animals at the rescue centre. A handwritten note conveyed the couple’s excitement for the wedding celebrations but urged attendees to avoid capturing images of the rescued creatures.

The letter read: We are happy for you to take photographs at the events but do enjoy each moment to its fullest. Our event photographers will cover the celebrations comprehensively and we will make sure to share your photos with you after the event. However, we do have a small request. Please refrain from taking photos or videos around the animals. Photography is restricted at all animal sites to ensure human and animal safety. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.”

This considerate appeal highlights Anant and Radhika’s care for animal welfare. As ethical leaders, they aim to protect the rescued residents at their facility from disruptive photography. Their gesture indicates compassion and thoughtfulness on an important occasion.

‘Mela Rouge’ Evening Gala

After the outdoor adventures of ‘A Walk on the Wildside,’ guests will change into ethnic eveningwear for ‘Mela Rouge.’ The dress code is ‘dazzling desi romance,’ suggesting traditional Indian attire with glamorous embellishments.

Guests will be treated to culinary delights from diverse regional cuisines. Star chef Vikas Khanna has crafted the menus, featuring delicacies from Kashmir to Kerala.

The food offerings include Royal Kashmiri wazwan platter with 30 dishes, coastal delicacies like appams, idiyappam and Kane ribs, North Indian chaats and kebabs, Hyderabadi biryani, haleem, Bengali mishti doi, rasogollas and South Indian banana leaf meals.

Food stations offer creative fusions, like dosa tacos and nutty laddoos with Italian dolcelatte. The sheer scale and variety of cuisine cater to all palates over the three-day revelry.

Grand Procession Planned for the Baraat

On the wedding day, Anant will arrive on horseback in a grand Baraat procession. The Baraat will originate at Jamnagar’s iconic 125-year-old Darbargadh Palace. Anant’s entry on Ghodi will be accompanied by music and dance.

The route is expected to be lined with eager crowds, hoping to catch a glimpse of the groom’s procession. According to sources, the Ambanis are planning spectacular aerial fireworks and lights along the Baraat route.
